SPHQ Description

The PowerShares S&P 500® High Quality Portfolio (Fund) is based on the S&P 500® High Quality Rankings Index (Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Index is designed to provide exposure to the constituents of the S&P 500 Index that are identified as stocks reflecting long-term growth and stability of a company's earnings and dividends. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted quarterly.

The index provides a benchmark for investors interested in tracking the mobile and electronic payments industry, specifically focusing on credit card networks, payment infrastructure and software services, payment processing services, and payment solutions (such as smartcards, prepaid cards, virtual wallets).
