The fund invests in MLPs and stocks of companies operating across energy, oil, gas and consumable fuels, oil and gas exploration and production, financials, diversified financials, mortgage real estate investment trusts (reits), materials, chemicals, commodity chemicals, industrial organic chemicals, natural rubber, plastic and synthetic resins, fabricated rubber products, plastic products, synthetic rubber, real estate, equity real estate investment trusts (reits), diversified reits, industrial manufacturing and services, manufactured products, food and tobacco production, upstream energy, downstream and midstream energy sectors. It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. The fund invests in dividend paying stocks of companies. It seeks to track the performance of the FCF Yield Enhanced Real Asset Index, by using full replication technique. PSL Description
The PowerShares Dynamic Consumer Staples Sector Portfolio (Fund) is based on the Dynamic Consumer Staples Sector IntellidexSM Index (Intellidex Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Intellidex Index thoroughly evaluates companies based on a variety of investment merit criteria, including: price momentum, earnings momentum, quality, management action, and value. The Underlying Intellidex Index is comprised of common stocks of 60 US consumer staples companies. These are companies that are principally engaged in the businesses of providing consumer goods and services that have non-cyclical characteristics, including tobacco, textiles, food and beverage, and non-discretionary retail. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted quarterly in February, May, August and November.Grade (RS Rating)
