Western Gas Partners, LP owns, operates, acquires, and develops midstream energy assets in east, west, and south Texas; the Rocky Mountains; and the Mid-Continent. The company engages in gathering, compressing, processing, treating, and transporting natural gas, condensate, natural gas liquids, and crude oil. As of December 31, 2012, its assets consisted of 13 gathering systems, 7 natural gas treating facilities, 10 natural gas processing facilities, 2 NGL pipelines, 1 interstate natural gas pipeline, and 1 intrastate natural gas pipeline. Western Gas Holdings, LLC serves as the general partner of Western Gas Partners, LP. The company was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas.
