The fund invests in securities and derivatives that ProShare Advisors believes, in combination, should have similar daily return characteristics as two times (2x) the daily return of the index. The index measures the performance of the semiconductor sub-sector of the U.S. equity market. Component companies are engaged in the production of semiconductors and other integrated chips, as well as other related products such as semi-conductor capital equipment and mother-boards. The fund is non-diversified.

The fund is an actively managed ETF that seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets in securities of (i) companies that derive at least 50% of their net revenue from tobacco and alcoholic beverages, (ii) companies that derive at least 50% of their net revenue from the food and beverage industry, and (iii) companies that derive at least 50% of their net revenue from gaming activities.
