It invests in the public equity markets of the United States. The fund invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in growth and value stocks of diverse market cap companies, within the market capitalization range of the Russell 2500 Index. The fund invests in stocks of companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. It employs fundamental and quantitative analysis with bottom-up stock picking approach to create its portfolio. It employs proprietary research to create its portfolio. Schwab Ariel ESG ETF was formed on November 16, 2021 and is domiciled in the United States.

SPYD Description The investment seeks to track the performance of the S&P 500 High Dividend Index. Under normal market conditions, the fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index. The index is designed to measure the performance of the top 80 dividend-paying securities listed on the S&P 500® Index, based on dividend yield. The S&P 500 Index focuses on the large capitalization U.S. equity market, including common stock and real estate investment trusts ("REITs"). The fund is non-diversified.
