Exelon Corporation, a utility services holding company, engages in the energy generation and distribution business in the United States. The company serves residential, commercial, industrial, and wholesale customers; and owns generation assets. It delivers electricity and natural gas to customers in central Maryland, northern Illinois, and southeastern Pennsylvania. The company was founded in 1887 and is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.
