It also licenses its trademarks, characters, and other property rights to third parties for use in connection with digital gaming, consumer promotions, as well as for sale of non-competing toys and games, and non-toy products. In addition, the company engages in lifestyle licensing, digital gaming, movie, television, and online entertainment operations. Further, it produces and distributes television programming to broadcasters. The company sells its products to wholesalers, distributors, chain stores, discount stores, mail order houses, catalog stores, department stores, and other traditional retailers, as well as Internet-based e-tailers. Hasbro, Inc. was founded in 1923 and is headquartered in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
