The Business Solutions segment provides business process management solutions in various product areas consisting of core bank processing, network hosting and management, information technology professional services, business process outsourcing, item processing, cash processing, and fulfillment for financial institutions, enterprises, and governments. The company offers its services through its direct sales force, as well as through value-added resellers, joint ventures, and merchant acquiring alliances. It processes approximately 1.8 billion transactions annually; and manages the electronic payment network for 4,100 automated teller machines and 104,000 point-of-sale payment terminals.
