PFFA Description

The investment seeks current income and, secondarily, capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the fund will invest not less than 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in U.S. preferred stock, and in derivatives and other instruments that have economic characteristics similar to such investments. The Sub-Adviser actively manages the fund's assets pursuant to a variety of quantitative, qualitative and relative valuation factors. The fund is non-diversified.

The investment seeks long term-capital appreciation while also seeking to protect principal during unfavorable market conditions. The fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by using a broad and flexible investment strategy and may invest directly in different types of instruments, such as: stocks and bonds issued by public and private companies and bonds issued by governments and governmental agencies ("Direct Investments"); and shares of funds that invest directly in such instruments. It is non-diversified.
