In addition, it provides professional banking, private banking, trust, and investment services; and financial solutions, such as financial planning, investment management, insurance, and retirement solutions. As of April 4, 2013, Columbia Banking System, Inc. had 157 banking offices, including 86 branches in Washington State and 71 branches in Oregon. The company was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Tacoma, Washington.
