The company markets its products under various trademarks, including GUESS, GUESS?, GUESS U.S.A., GUESS Jeans, GUESS? and Triangle Design, MARCIANO, Question Mark and Triangle Design, a stylized G and a stylized M, GUESS Kids, Baby GUESS, YES, G by GUESS, GUESS by MARCIANO, and Gc. It sells products through retail, wholesale, e-commerce, and licensing distribution channels. As of May 4, 2013, the company operated 511 retail stores in the United States and Canada; and 328 retail stores in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Its licensees and distributors operated 853 stores outside the United States and Canada. The company was founded in 1981 and is headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
