It seeks to track the investment results of the Dow Jones U.S. Basic Materials Index (the "underlying index"), which measures the performance of the basic materials sector of the U.S. equity market. The fund is non-diversified.

The fund, under normal circumstances, invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowing for investment purposes) in financial instruments that provide daily leveraged exposure to the index and/or exchange-traded funds ("ETFs") that track the index. The index is provided by Dow Jones U.S. Index. The index provider attempts to measure the performance of the aerospace and defense industry of the U.S. equity market.
