Trio-Tech International Description
Trio-Tech International engages in semiconductor test and manufacturing, oil and gas equipment fabrication, distribution, and real estate businesses. Its Testing Services segment offers test services, including stabilization bake, thermal shock, temperature cycling, mechanical shock, constant acceleration, gross and fine leak tests, electrical testing, microprocessor equipment contract cleaning, static and dynamic burn-in tests, reliability lab, and vibration testing services. This segment also performs qualification testing consisting of tests conducted on small samples of output from manufacturers for qualification of their processes and devices. The company's Manufacturing segment manufactures front-end semiconductor test equipment, including artic temperature controlled chucks used for test, characterization, and failure analysis of semiconductor wafers and other components; and wet process stations used for cleaning, rinsing, and drying semiconductor wafers, flat panel displays magnetic disks, and other microelectronic substrates. This segment also offers back-end products, such as autoclaves and highly accelerated stress test equipment; burn-in systems, boards, and board test systems; and component centrifuges and leak detection equipment. Its Distribution segment distributes complementary products made by manufacturers, such as environmental chambers, handlers, interface systems, vibration systems, shaker systems, solderability testers, and other semiconductor equipment. The company's Real Estate segment invests in commercial and residential properties. Its Fabrication Services segment provides fabrication of large and complex structures used to process oil and gas, and for temporary storage of oil prior to shipment, as well as related services for the offshore oil and gas industries. The company operates in the U.S., Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, China, and Indonesia. Trio-Tech International was founded in 1958 and is headquartered in Van Nuys, California.
