The company generates deposit products, such as checking accounts, savings accounts, time deposits, IRA products, brokered time deposits, and municipal money market accounts. Its loan portfolio includes loans for various business purposes, such as real estate financing, construction, equipment financing, accounts receivable financing, and commercial leasing; residential real estate loans comprising home equity loans; commercial and industrial loans; commercial real estate loans; agriculturally-related loans; and consumer loans, such as personal installment loans, direct and indirect automobile financing, and overdraft lines of credit. The company also provides cash management services, letters of credit, sweep accounts, credit cards, Internet-based account services, mobile banking and remote deposit services, brokerage services, debit cards, and safe deposit services. In addition, it offers trust and estate, investment and wealth management, financial and tax planning, and insurance planning services; life, long-term care, and disability insurance products and services; and property and casualty insurance, and employee benefits consulting services. The company operates approximately 66 banking offices. It primarily serves individuals, corporations, and other business clients. The company was founded in 1836 and is headquartered in Ithaca, New York.
