The company operates in the United States and Canada; offers international shipping to customers worldwide; and franchises its brands in Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates. Williams-Sonoma, Inc. was founded in 1956 and is based in San Francisco, California.
