Technical Analysis for PRAA - Portfolio Recovery Associates, Inc.
|Grade||Last Price||% Change||$ Change|
PRAA closed up 0.15 percent on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, on approximately normal volume. Its advance stalled at its 200 day moving average, an important long-term support / resistance line. The price action carved out a bullish hammer (or hammer-like) candlestick pattern. That may indicate an upside reversal. Look for price to trade above the high of the hammer for confirmation. Due to the stock's strong downtrend, it may remain oversold for a while. So, if you're looking for a reason to buy, don't put too much weight on it being oversold.
