Team Inc. provides specialty industrial services in the United States, Canada, Europe, and internationally. It operates through three segments: Inspection and Heat Treating Services Group; Mechanical Services Group; and Quest Integrity Group. The company offers inspection and assessment services, which include the inspection and evaluation of piping, piping components, and equipment; and engineering assessment services to aerospace and automotive, process, power, and pipeline industries. It also offers field heat treating services, including electric resistance and gas-fired combustion; leak repair services, which include on-stream repairs of leaks in pipes, valves, flanges, and other parts of piping systems and related equipment; fugitive volatile organic compound emission leak detection services that include identification, monitoring, data management, and reporting primarily for the chemical, refining, and natural gas processing industries; and hot tapping services, which involves utilizing special equipment to cut a hole in a pressurized pipeline. In addition, the company provides field machining services, which include flange facing, pipe cutting, line boring, journal turning, drilling, and milling; and technical bolting services as complementary services to field machining during plant shut downs or maintenance activities. Further, it provides field valve repair services; heat exchanger and maintenance services; and isolation and test plug services. It serves various heavy industries, which include petrochemical, refining, steel, and pulp and paper industries, as well as municipalities, shipbuilding, original equipment manufacturers, distributors, and engineering and construction firms. The company was founded in 1973 and is headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas.
