It offers content and services through three channels, including online channel at ifeng.com, video channel, and mobile channel, as well as transmits content to TV viewers, primarily through Phoenix TV. The company, through its Website, ifeng.com, provides approximately 40 interest-based verticals, such as news, finance, automobiles, entertainment, fashion, military affairs, and history; interactive services, including blog, micro-blog, light-blog, user surveys, comment posting, and discussion forum; third-party developed Web-based games on its game platform, play.ifeng.com; and personalized features at my.ifeng.com. Its video channel services comprise v.ifeng.com vertical that offers free online video on demand, live Phoenix TV broadcasts, online video subscription and pay-per-view services; mobile subscription and pay-per-view services; mobile video application; and video content sales. The company's mobile channel consists of 3g.ifeng.com mobile Website; and mobile Internet and value-add services, including mobile newspaper service, digital books service, digital reading applications, and mobile game services, as well as wireless value-added services comprising SMS-based, music, IVR-based, WAP-based services, and MMS-based services. Its mobile channel also consists mobile applications for different mobile devices, including ifeng Video, which provides video news and other video content; ifeng News that provides news in the form of text and image; ifeng FM, which provides audio news and other audio content; ifeng Book that provides digital format books licensed from third-party publishers; and ifeng Weekly that provides a collection of digital version magazines. The company was incorporated in 2007 and is based in Beijing, the People's Republic of China.
