Its primary deposit products include interest-bearing and noninterest-bearing checking accounts, regular and money market savings accounts, time certificates of deposit, NOW accounts, and retirement deposit accounts; and primary lending products comprise residential mortgages, commercial mortgages, commercial business loans, and consumer loans. The company also provides retail and commercial electronic banking services, commercial cash management services, and commercial interest rate swap instruments for commercial customers; and debit cards and other electronic payment services to transaction account customers. In addition, it offers wealth management services, such as investment management, trust administration, estate planning, and private banking services, as well as investment products, financial planning, and brokerage services. Further, the company provides a line of personal and commercial property and casualty, employee benefits, personal life, health, and financial services insurance products. It serves retail, commercial, not-for-profit, and municipal customers. The company operates approximately 75 full service branches in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, and Vermont; and 10 commercial and residential lending offices in central/eastern Massachusetts. Berkshire Hills Bancorp, Inc. was founded in 1846 and is headquartered in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
