The fund normally invests at least 90% of assets in common stocks that comprise the index or in depositary receipts representing securities in the index. The index is designed to act as a transparent and liquid benchmark for the grid and electric energy infrastructure sector. The fund is non-diversified.

The fund invests in public equity markets across global region. It invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in growth and value stocks of mid-cap companies, within the market capitalization range of the Russell Mid Cap Index. It invests in stocks of companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. It employs fundamental and quantitative analysis with bottom-up stock picking approach to create its portfolio. The fund does not invest in companies operating across manufacture of complete tobacco products, cluster munitions, thermal coal and fossil fuels sectors.
