It provides regional, inter-regional, and national LTL services. The company also provides a range of value-added services, including ground and air expedited transportation, container delivery, truckload brokerage, supply chain consulting, and warehousing services, as well as consumer household pickup and delivery services. In addition, it offers freight forwarding services worldwide. As of December 31, 2012, it owned a fleet of 6,099 tractors and 24,181 trailers, as well as operated 218 service centers. Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. was founded in 1934 and is based in Thomasville, North Carolina.
