The company operates through two segments, Community Banking and Mortgage Banking. It offers various deposit instruments comprising checking accounts, savings accounts, money market deposit accounts, fixed-term certificates of deposit, demand deposits, and time deposits. The company’s loan portfolio includes one- to four-family residential mortgage loans; over four-family real estate loans; home equity loans and home equity lines of credit; residential construction and land loans; commercial real estate loans; commercial loans for working capital, inventory, and general corporate use; and consumer loans. As of March 31, 2013, it had 8 community bank branches in the metropolitan Milwaukee market, and mortgage banking offices in 11 states. The company was founded in 1921 and is headquartered in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Waterstone Financial, Inc. is a subsidiary of Lamplighter Financial, MHC.
