The company offers a range of products, including modules and components for passenger and driver-side airbags, side-impact airbag protection systems, seatbelts, steering wheels, safety electronics, anti-whiplash systems, pedestrian protection systems, and child seats. It also provides night vision and camera vision systems, radars, pyrotechnic belt pretensioners, brake controllers, and other active safety systems. Autoliv markets its products to car manufacturers in Europe, the Americas, China, Japan, and the rest of Asia. The company was founded in 1953 and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
