Its deposit solutions comprise business and personal checking accounts, negotiable order of withdrawal accounts, tiered savings and money market accounts, and time deposits, as well as individual retirement accounts and investment sweep accounts. The company also offers commercial loans, including working capital, equipment purchases, real estate lines of credit, and government contract financing, as well as asset based lending and accounts receivable financing; construction and commercial real estate loans; business equipment financing; consumer home equity lines of credit, personal lines of credit, and term loans; consumer installment loans, such as automobile and personal loans; personal credit cards; and residential mortgage loans. In addition, it offers commercial and retail insurance products through a referral arrangement; online and mobile banking services; remote deposit services; and other services, including cash management services, business sweep accounts, lock boxes, account reconciliation services, merchant card services, safety deposit boxes, automated clearing house origination, after-hours depository, and ATM services. The company serves sole proprietors, small and medium-sized businesses, partnerships, corporations, non-profit organizations and associations, and investors, as well as individuals. As of May 16, 2013, it operated 18 full service branch offices located in Montgomery County, Maryland; Washington, D.C.; and City of Alexandria, and Arlington and Fairfax Counties, Virginia. The company was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland.
