It invests in the fixed income markets of the United States. It invests directly and through derivatives such as swaps and future to create its portfolio. It invests in U.S. dollar-denominated debt securities issued by U.S. government, its agencies or government-sponsored enterprises and corporates. The fund primarily invests in investment-grade securities that are rated BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody’s. The fund invests in securities with varying maturities.
