Vicor Corporation designs, develops, manufactures, and markets modular power components and complete power systems worldwide. The company offers modular power converters, including high current density component-level direct current-direct current power converters, a range of bus converters, and individual models for regulation and transformation; accessory power system components to condition and/or filter the input and output voltages of the modular power components; configurable products, such as alternating current-direct current and direct current-direct current configurable products, and configurable power supplies; and customer specific power system products. It also provides VI chip products comprising BCM (bus converter module), an intermediate bus converter; the PRM (pre-regulator module), a non-isolated regulator; the VTM (voltage transformation module), an isolated current multiplier; PFM, an isolated AC-DC voltage transformer; and DCM an isolated, regulated DC-DC voltage transformer. In addition, the company offers integrated circuits and related products for use in various power system applications; and MIL-COTS products. It serves independent manufacturers of electronic devices, original equipment manufacturers, and their contract manufacturers in aerospace and defense electronics, enterprise and high performance computing, industrial equipment and automation, telecommunications and network infrastructure, test and measurement instrumentation, and vehicles and transportation industries directly, as well as through a network of distributors. Vicor Corporation was founded in 1981 and is headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts.
