The S&P International Dividend Opportunities Index (Total Return) is a market capitalization-weighted index designed to measure the performance of dividend-paying stocks from developed markets outside of the United States. The index is comprised of stocks from the S&P Developed ex-U.S. BMI Index that have a dividend yield greater than the median dividend yield of the index. The index is calculated in US dollars and is designed to provide investors with a benchmark for international dividend-paying stocks.
