Allied Health Professions are a group of health care professionals who work together to provide comprehensive health care services. They include physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, dietitians, nutritionists, medical technologists, medical laboratory technicians, respiratory therapists, and many other health care professionals. Allied health professionals work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, schools, and private practices.
