The company's Content segment engages in the production of television programming and nationwide broadcasting of Channels 2, 4, 5, and 9; and the production of television programming and broadcasting for local television stations in Mexico and the United States. This segment also provides programming services for cable and pay-per-view television companies in Mexico, other countries in Latin America, the United States, and Europe; and is involved in the international licensing of television programming, as well as Internet activities. Its Publishing segment primarily engages in publishing Spanish-language magazines in Mexico, the United States, and Latin America. The company's Sky segment offers direct-to-home broadcast satellite pay television services, including program services, installation, and equipment rental to subscribers in Mexico, Central America, and the Dominican Republic. Its Cable and Telecom segment operates a cable and telecommunication system, telecommunication facilities, and cable and telecommunication networks. This segment offers basic and premium television subscription, pay-per-view, installation, Internet subscription, telephone, and advertising services, as well as data and long-distance services solutions to carriers and other telecommunications service providers through its fiber-optic network. The company's Other Businesses segment is involved in sports and show business promotion, soccer, feature film production and distribution, gaming, radio, and publishing distribution businesses. Grupo Televisa, S.A.B. was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Mexico, Mexico.
