Stericycle, Inc. serves large-quantity generators of regulated waste, such as hospitals, blood banks, and pharmaceutical manufacturers; and small-quantity generators of regulated waste comprising outpatient clinics, medical and dental offices, long-term and sub-acute care facilities, veterinary offices, municipalities, and retail pharmacies. It operates in the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Portugal, Romania, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The company was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Lake Forest, Illinois.
