Steel Partners Holdings, L.P., through its subsidiaries, engages in industrial products, energy, defense, banking, insurance, food products and services, sports, training, education, and the entertainment and lifestyle businesses. It operates through four segments: Diversified Industrial, Energy, Financial Services, and Corporate and Other. The company fabricates precious metals and alloys into brazing alloys; manufactures steel tubing products, such as seamless stainless steel tubing coils; provides high performance materials for the printed circuit board industry; and silicone rubber-based insulation materials that are used in industrial, military/aerospace, consumer, and commercial markets. It also manufactures and supplies fasteners and fastening systems for the U.S. commercial low slope roofing industry; specialty fasteners for the building products industry; and electro-galvanized and painted cold rolled sheet steel products for the construction, entry door, container, and appliance industries. In addition, the company provides meat-room blade products, repair services, and resale products for the meat and deli departments of supermarkets, restaurants, meat, fish processing plants, and for distributors of electrical saws and cutting equipment; and wood cutting blade products for the pallet manufacturing, pallet recycler, and portable saw mill industries. Further, it offers financial services, including commercial, real estate, government guaranteed, and consumer loans; leases and manages two real estate properties; and provides well services to exploration and production companies operating primarily in the Williston Basin in North Dakota and eastern Montana.
