The company's products include ADMET Predictor, a computer program that takes molecular structures as inputs and predicts their properties; MedChem Designer, a molecule drawing program or sketcher; MedChem Studio, a tool for data mining and designing new drug-like molecules by medicinal and computational chemists; DDDPlus, which simulates in vitro laboratory experiments that measure the rate of dissolution of the drug and additives contained in tablets and capsules; and GastroPlus that simulates the absorption, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of drugs administered to humans and animals. It also develops and sells Abbreviate!, a productivity software program, as well as offers consulting and contract research services to the pharmaceutical industry. The company operates in North America, Europe, Asia, and South America. Simulations Plus, Inc. was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Lancaster, California.
