Its primary deposit products include demand deposits, savings accounts, and certificates of deposit, as well as commercial checking, NOW, and money market accounts. The company's lending products comprise commercial real estate loans, multi-family residential real estate loans, commercial business loans, construction and land development loans, one-to four-family residential loans, home equity loans and lines of credit, and consumer loans. It operates seven banking offices located in Amesbury and Newburyport, Massachusetts and Portsmouth, and Exeter and Seabrook, New Hampshire. The company was founded in 1828 and is headquartered in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Provident Bancorp, Inc. is a subsidiary of Provident Bancorp.
