Old National Bancorp Description

Old National Bancorp operates as the bank holding company for Old National Bank, which provides financial services to individuals and commercial customers in the United States. It operates in two segments, Community Banking and Treasury. The Community Banking segment accepts deposit products comprising noninterest-bearing demand, negotiable order of withdrawal, savings and money market, and time deposits; and originates loans, such as home equity lines of credit, residential real estate loans, consumer loans, commercial loans, commercial real estate loans, letters of credit, and lease financing. This segment also offers debit and ATM cards, telephone access, and online banking, as well as other electronic banking services; and investment services and various brokerage products, including investment options and investment advice to its clients. In addition, this segment offers merchant cash management and other services relating to the general banking business; and reinsures credit life insurance, as well as property and casualty insurance. The Treasury segment manages investments, wholesale funding, interest rate risk, liquidity, and leverage for the bank; and provides capital market products, such as interest rate derivatives, foreign exchange, and industrial revenue bond financing for its commercial clients. The company also offers fiduciary and trust services; and insurance brokerage services. As of December 31, 2012, it operated a total of 180 banking centers, loan production, or other financial services offices primarily in the states of Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. The company was founded in 1834 and is headquartered in Evansville, Indiana.
