The company's Chellomedia division produces and distributes TV channels; and provides digital services, such as ad sales and broadcast solutions to a portfolio of channel operators in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. This division produces and markets multi-territory thematic channels in approximately 124 countries and in 27 languages to cable, satellite, and IPTY networks; provides a range of television services through its B2B businesses for its channel partners and clients; and offers channel origination, post-production, and satellite and fiber transmission services. Its Liberty Global Business Services division provides voice, broadband Internet, video, and data services to business customers across local fiber-based networks. This division offers broadband Internet, voice, and video services, combined with value added services and business class support to small office home office customers; voice over Internet protocol (VoIP), Webhosting, cloud solutions, audio and Web conferencing, and interactive media services, such as direct response and voting to medium and large enterprises; and a range of access, voice, and Internet services to carriers, Internet service providers, and mobile operators in Europe. The company's Liberty Global Ventures division operates as an investment fund that invests in a portfolio of companies in the content, technology, Internet, and distribution space. Liberty Global plc offers its services through next-generation networks and technology platforms that connect approximately 25 million customers subscribing to 47 million television, broadband Internet, and telephony services. Its consumer brands include Virgin Media, UPC, Unitymedia, Kabel BW, Telenet, and VTR. The company was founded in 2004 and is based in London, United Kingdom.
