Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation develops, manufactures, and markets surgical implants and medical instruments for neurosurgery, extremity reconstruction, orthopedics, and general surgery. The company operates in five segments: U.S. Neurosurgery, U.S. Instruments, U.S. Extremities, U.S. Spine and Other, and International. Its orthopedics products include specialty metal implants for surgery of the extremities, shoulder, and spine; orthobiologic products for repair and grafting of bone; dermal regeneration products and tissue-engineered wound dressings; and nerve and tendon repair products. The company also offers spinal fusion technologies comprising integrated interbody fusion devices, minimally invasive solutions, and deformity correction products; and neurosurgery products, including dural repair products, cerebral spinal fluid management devices, tissue ablation equipment, intracranial monitoring equipment, and cranial stabilization equipment. In addition, it provides instruments products, such as specialty and general surgical instruments, dental instruments, and surgical lighting for sale to hospitals and outpatient surgery centers, as well as physician, veterinarian, and dental practices. The company sells its products directly through various sales forces and distribution channels in the United States, Europe, and internationally. Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Plainsboro, New Jersey.
