Haynes International, Inc. engages in developing, manufacturing, marketing, and distributing high-performance nickel- and cobalt-based alloys in sheet, coil, and plate forms worldwide. Its products include high-temperature resistant alloys (HTA) and corrosion-resistant alloys (CRA). The company's HTS products are used by manufacturers of jet engines for the aerospace market; gas turbine engines for use in applications, such as naval and commercial vessels, electric power generation, power sources for offshore drilling platforms, gas pipeline booster stations, and emergency standby power generators; and industrial heating equipment. Its CRA products are used in various applications, which consist of chemical processing, power plant emissions control, hazardous waste treatment, sour gas production, and pharmaceutical vessels. The company's products also have applications in flue-gas desulphurization, oil and gas, waste incineration, industrial heat treating, automotive, instrumentation, biopharmaceuticals, solar, and nuclear fuel industries. In addition, it offers products in the form of seamless and welded tubulars, slabs, bars, billets, and wires. The company sells its products through its direct sales organization, as well as through a network of independent distributors and sales agents. Haynes International, Inc. was founded in 1912 and is headquartered in Kokomo, Indiana.
