Goldfield Corporation (The) Description

The Goldfield Corporation, through its subsidiaries, primarily engages in the electrical construction business in the United States. It is involved in the construction and maintenance of electric utility facilities for electric utilities and industrial customers; and installation of fiber optic cable for fiber optic cable manufacturers, telecommunication companies, and electric utilities. The company's electrical construction business includes the construction of transmission lines, concrete foundations, distribution systems and substations, and other electrical installation services for utility systems and industrial and specialty projects. It also performs fiber optic cable installation. In addition, the company engages in the development of real estate properties, including single family residential properties. The Goldfield Corporation was founded in 1906 and is based in Melbourne, Florida.
