The company provides various fresh produce products, such as bananas, pineapples, melons, tomatoes, grapes, apples, pears, peaches, plums, nectarines, cherries, citrus, avocados, blueberries, and kiwi. It also offers other fruit, including strawberries, plantains, and mangos; prepared foods comprising prepared fruit and vegetables, juices, beverages, snacks, poultry, and meat products; and vegetables comprising potatoes, onions, bell peppers, and cucumbers. In addition, the company is involved in the ocean freight business; and the manufacture of plastic and box products, including bins, trays, bags, and boxes. It offers its products primarily under the DEL MONTE brand, as well as under other brands, such as UTC, Rosy, Fruit Express, Just Juice, Fruitini, and other regional brands. The company markets and distributes its products to retail stores, club stores, wholesalers, distributors, and foodservice operators. Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. was founded in 1886 and is based in George Town, Cayman Islands.
