Denison Mines Corp Description

Denison Mines Corp. engages in the exploration, development, mining, and milling of uranium in Canada, Zambia, and Mongolia. Its exploration project portfolio includes 32 projects totaling approximately 530,000 hectares located in the Eastern Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan. The company's interests in Saskatchewan also include a 22.5% ownership interest in the McClean Lake Joint Venture, which includes various uranium deposits and the McClean Lake uranium mill; and a 25.17% interest in the Midwest deposit. In addition, it owns 100% interest in the conventional heap leach Mutanga project situated in Zambia; and 85% interest in the in-situ recovery projects located in Mongolia. Further, Denison Mines Corp. offers mine decommissioning and environmental services. The company was formerly known as International Uranium Corporation and changed its name to Denison Mines Corp. in December 2006. Denison Mines Corp. was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
