CAE Inc. engages in the design, manufacture, and supply of simulation equipment services; and development of integrated training solutions for the military, commercial airlines, business aircraft operators, aircraft manufacturers, healthcare education and service providers, and mining industry worldwide. The company's Simulation Products/Civil segment offers civil flight simulation training devices and visual systems for regional commercial airlines, third-party training centers, and original equipment manufacturers, as well as provides various support services comprising emergency support, simulator updates and upgrades, maintenance services, sale of spare parts, and simulator relocations. CAE Inc.'s Training and Services/Civil segment provides business, commercial, and helicopter aviation training services that include curriculum development, training centre operations, pilot training, cabin crew training, aircraft maintenance technician training, e-Learning and courseware solutions, and consulting services. This segment serves regional airlines, helicopter operators, and general and business aviation markets. The company's Simulation Products/Military segment offers military training equipment and software tools for fast jets, helicopters, trainer aircraft, and maritime patrol and tanker/transport aircraft, as well as offers simulation-based solutions for land and naval forces; military helicopter simulators; and simulation products and training systems. CAE Inc.'s Training and Services/Military segment supplies turnkey training services, support services, and systems maintenance and integrated enterprise solutions. The company's New Core Markets segment provides healthcare devices, such as surgical, ultrasound, and human patient simulators, as well as learning applications/courseware and centre management systems; and mining services and tools. CAE Inc. was founded in 1947 and is headquartered in Saint-Laurent, Canada.
