The Mineral Resources segment engages in oil and gas royalty leases, rock and aggregate mining leases, and land lease for manufacturing Portland cement. The Farming segment farms various permanent crops, including wine grapes in 1,549 acres; almonds in 1,675 acres; and pistachios in 1,012 acres. This segment also manages farming of alfalfa and forage mix on 775 acres in the Antelope Valley; and periodically leases 750 acres of land for growing vegetables.
