Tutor Perini Corporation Description
Tutor Perini Corporation provides diversified general contracting, construction management, and design-build services to private customers and public agencies worldwide. It operates in four segments: Civil, Building, Specialty Contractors, and Management Services. The Civil segment engages in public works construction and the repair, replacement, and reconstruction of infrastructure, including highways, bridges, mass transit systems, and water and wastewater treatment facilities. The Building segment offers services in various specialized building markets, including hospitality and gaming, transportation, healthcare, municipal offices, sports and entertainment, education, correctional facilities, biotech, pharmaceutical, industrial, and high-tech. The Specialty Contractors segment provides plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatically placed concrete services for the industrial, commercial, hospitality and gaming, and transportation markets. The Management Services segment offers diversified construction and design-build services to the United States military and government agencies, surety companies, and multi-national corporations. This segment also provides rapid response and contract completion services, and management or general contracting services to fulfill the contractual and financial obligations of the surety. The company was formerly known as Perini Corporation and changed its name to Tutor Perini Corporation in 2009. Tutor Perini Corporation was founded in 1894 and is headquartered in Sylmar, California.
