SIFCO Industries, Inc. engages in the production and sale of various metalworking processes, services, and products. It operates in three segments: Forged Components Group, Turbine Component Services and Repair Group, and Applied Surface Concepts Group. The Forged Components Group segment manufactures forged components for aerospace and energy applications. Its products include original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket components for aircraft and industrial gas turbine engines; structural airframe components; aircraft landing gear components; wheels and brakes; critical rotating components for helicopters; and commercial/industrial products. This segment also provides heat-treatment, surface-treatment, non-destructive testing, and select machining of forged components. The Turbine Component Services and Repair Group segment repairs and remanufactures small turbine engine components principally for aerospace applications; and offers precision component machining and industrial coatings to turbine engine components. The Applied Surface Concepts Group segment provides surface enhancement technologies related to selective plating and anodizing. This segment's principal offerings include metal plating solutions and equipment required for selective plating, as well as selective plating contract services. The company has operations in the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and France. SIFCO Industries, Inc. was founded in 1916 and is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.
