    List of closed trades with results?

    Say my stock ABC closes below the 20 dma. I am stopped out. Does this result show in another table? How does swing trade bot keep track of portfolio results and the effectiveness of your strategy? Is there a list of closed trades as well as open trades?

    Good question(s) John.  There is no such list of closed trades.  That would essentially tack on a trading journal into SwingTradeBot.  It's something I considered when I first launched the site.  However, after considering all that would be involved I decided to leave that to one of the already existing trading journal systems.  (I track my trades via EdgeWonk )

    Hi Mike:

    OK. So what happens to ABC trade when I hit my 20 DMA exit? Does the trade just disappear from my portfolio? If it sits there, then I can journal the trade myself using a spreadsheet.

    If your portfolio is synced with your brokerage then it will just disappear when the next sync after the trade happens.  If you're manually entering positions, then you'll have to manually remove the position.
