Invesco Core Plus Bond Fund R5 Class Retirement Description
Invesco Core Plus Bond Fund is an open ended fixed income mutual fund launched by Invesco Ltd. It is managed by Invesco Advisers, Inc., INVESCO Asset Management Deutschland GmbH, INVESCO Asset Management Limited, INVESCO Asset Management (Japan) Limited, Invesco Hong Kong Limited, INVESCO Senior Secured Management, Inc., and Invesco Canada Ltd. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of the United States. It primarily invests in corporate bonds, U.S. treasury and agency securities, mortgage-backed securities, and asset-backed securities with a dollar-weighted average portfolio maturity of between three and ten years. The fund invests in investment grade securities rated BBB- or higher by S&P or Baa3 or higher by Moody’s. It employs fundamental analysis with bottom-up security picking approach and focuses on factors such as attractive risk-reward opportunities, economic and credit-related fundamentals, market supply and demand, market dislocations, situation-specific opportunities, duration, yield curve positioning, sector exposure, credit quality, and general liquidity to create its portfolio. The fund benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the Barclays U.S. Aggregate Index and Lipper Core Plus Bond Funds Index. The fund conducts proprietary research to create its portfolio. It was formerly known as AIM Counselor Series Trust - AIM Core Plus Bond Fund. Invesco Core Plus Bond Fund was formed on June 3, 2009 and is domiciled in the United States.
