Symptoms of HCV infection can range from mild to severe and may include fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dark urine, clay-colored stools, joint pain, and jaundice. In some cases, HCV infection can lead to serious liver problems, including cirrhosis and liver cancer. Treatment for HCV infection typically involves a combination of antiviral medications.
