- Non Invasive Ventilation
Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) is a type of breathing support that does not require a tube to be inserted into the airway. It is used to treat breathing problems such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sleep apnea, and other respiratory conditions. NIV helps to improve oxygen levels in the blood and reduce the work of breathing. It is usually delivered through a mask that fits over the nose and mouth.
