They can be caused by repetitive motions, awkward postures, or overexertion. Common MSDs include carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and lower back pain. Symptoms may include pain, stiffness, swelling, and decreased range of motion. Treatment may include rest, physical therapy, medications, and surgery.
