Adoptive Cell Transfer

Adoptive cell transfer (ACT) is a type of immunotherapy that involves taking immune cells from a patient, modifying them in the laboratory, and then infusing them back into the patient to help fight cancer. ACT works by boosting the patient’s own immune system to recognize and attack cancer cells. It is used to treat a variety of cancers, including melanoma, lymphoma, and leukemia.
